🔍 Why do eyelashes become curled or overly lifted?
This often happens because of:
-
inaccurate fixation of the eyelashes on the silicone pad
-
too much product or too long an exposure time
-
Eyelashes that cross over each other during treatment
But don't worry: This is correctable – with the right follow-up treatment by neutralizing.
⚠️ Important note beforehand:
Before you begin the neutralization process, check your client's eyes for irritation or redness.
➡️ If the eye is sensitive or irritated, wait at least 24 hours before correcting it.
✨ Step-by-step instructions: Neutralize frizzy eyelashes
Here you will find the entire procedure as a professional aftercare treatment – directly from the BLASHY training material:
1. Removing makeup
Thoroughly cleanse your eyelashes with oil-free makeup remover . Make sure there is no residue left on your eyelashes.
2. Apply eye pads
Fix the lower lashes with an eye pad – just like in a regular lifting treatment.
3. Apply Lifting Lotion #1
Apply Lifting Lotion No. 1 precisely to the affected eyelashes using a brush. Only apply to the lashes , never to the skin or eyelids!
4. Realign eyelashes
Use a microbrush or Y-tool to work along the lash line. Gently brush through the hairs, holding them at the tips.
⏱ After 1–2 minutes, the eyelashes begin to relax.
Maximum exposure time: 3 minutes.
5. Removing the lifting lotion
Gently remove the lotion with a damp cotton pad .
6. Apply Fixing Lotion #2
Apply Fixing Lotion No. 2 using a microbrush as well.
Exposure time: 1 minute – no longer!
7. Remove & Apply Care
Remove the fixing lotion with a damp cotton pad.
Then: Apply a nourishing lash conditioner or Elleeplex ReGen .
Exposure time: 2–5 minutes.
8. Drying & Finishing
Clean the eye, remove the pads and dry the eyelashes with a mini fan.
This step is important to ensure that the eyelashes retain their new shape.
9. Explain aftercare and recommend products
Recommend to your customer:
-
24 hours without water or steam
-
Elleeplex or at-home lash conditioner
-
Minimum 8 weeks break before the next facelift.

"The sooner you see that the result isn't ideal, the better you can counteract it. Don't wait – take the opportunity immediately after the lift to neutralize it with the right technique. Your client will thank you for your skill!"
